Vison, Mission Statement - Amazing Grace Church



	The Vision of Amazing Grace Church is expressed in Ephesians 4:12...to train the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Our priority, therefore, is the teaching of the Word of God. All other endeavors spring from this foundation, including, but not limited to the praise and worship of God. At the New birth, we are appointed as ambassadors for Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:20) Ambassadors must understand the message of the One that sent them. It is therefore incumbent upon us to know the message of the bible so that we can accurately represent the Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 2:15) We have been given authority by Jesus Christ, Matthew 28:18-19, power by the Holy Spirit, Acts 1:8, and the plan of God for the church age Ephesians 3:1-11. These are useless to us if we don't know what they are, how to use them, and why. Jesus taught that the "blind who were leading the blind" were those "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men". (Matthew 15:7-14) We intend to teach the Word of God unbound by the traditions of men. All are welcome to attend our services.
