God Invented Business ©
God is never dependant upon man. God does not allow man to pay God’s debts.

A few years ago, I needed a few days off, and decided to accompany my good friend, Bruce Hugill, to San Antonio. Although Bruce lives in Tulsa, he has quite a few clients in San Antonio, and since I have a background in the investment business, I thought that I might be of some help to him as he hosted some financial seminars there.

Bruce had been attending a Tuesday evening bible study at our offices in Tulsa, OK, for some time, and our conversations were frequently about God. Recently we had been talking about God's financial plan for his children. We agreed that God is still in the "business" business, having invented business as a bridge between the church and the world.

On this particular morning, I asked Bruce to name the dollar amount of commissions that he believed his seminar would produce on that day. Bruce then agreed to give God credit for anything that came in over and above his estimate. We then read a chapter in Proverbs and prayed for the seminar's success. The seminar was very successful, bringing in about 160% of Bruce's anticipated amount. Glory to God!

I will never forget the first time I saw this bible passage: Deuteronomy 8: 18. But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

He has given us the power to GET wealth, and the reason He wants to do this is to establish His covenant! God pays His own way...He is NOT dependant on His children, but rather we are dependant on him!
I found this passage a short time later:
Psalms 35: 27. Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
Establishing the covenant is God's "righteous cause"!
I favor God's righteous cause, the winning of souls to the Lord Jesus Christ, don’t you? Are you doing anything about what you believe? Are you putting any action with your faith? Or are you waiting until you have “enough”?

The end-time harvest fields are very white, particularly in Japan, where Rising Sun Bible School is situated about 10-15 FEET from the huge Shinto Karasu Mori (Crow Woods) shrine. All day long we can hear the people come to clap their hands to summon the demon gods and pray. Most Japanese have never heard of David and Goliath or any of the gospel stories that we take for granted. Japan is the most literate nation on earth, with education an extreme high priority here, but there are 127 million people here, and less than one percent are Christian.

When we first came to Japan, we were not sure what we were doing, but since we have been in Fujisawa, Japan, we have led a number of Japanese people to the Lord, and have established 15 weekly Bible Classes around the Shonan area, in several different cities. We are having good results because we are sharing a living and very powerful Jesus Christ, not just another religion. We now have a strong vision for the conversion of Japan to Christianity. We are ready to share our success with other Christians who understand how God funds the gospel.

God established a spiritual principle during King David's reign:
1 Samuel 30: 24. For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarrieth by the stuff: they shall part alike.

The gospel is free, but of course it takes money to take it around the world. God is never dependant upon man. God will not allow man to pay God’s debts.

God has made it abundantly clear through His Word that He intends for his people to prosper, notwithstanding that many of His own people neither realize this nor believe it. Prospering His people is part of God's plan! The money to fund the gospel comes from God through His people. God’s abundance toward those who have discovered and are participating in this plan is absolutely amazing.

It is all based on the principle of sowing and reaping. Just as in farming, there are a number of things you must do to get a good crop. Giving religiously is NOT one of them. At its essence, God’s financial plan is giving because you WANT to; never because you think you HAVE to.

The Devil has seduced even some otherwise mature Christians, into waiting for some great financial windfall before they sow their finances. They think in terms of giving $1000.00, $10,000.00, or perhaps $1,000,000.00, but this is man's idea, not God's idea! The widow didn't wait to give her two mites...and Jesus commended her. God knows where you are financially! God's plan for giving is proportional to income so that no one ever has to wait until "later" to prosper using His plan. God wants your heart! You give Him your heart when you invest your money into His plan to save souls.
Matthew 6:21. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Then He tells us:
Luke 12:34. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Why did He tell us twice?
I think it is because so many Christians didn't get it the first time!

You'll never have "enough" to give when you have “enough”, because expenses always expand to meet income! If God is first among your priorities, then don’t give him what is left over after you pay everything else. Instead, give "as you purpose in your heart"! He tells us to sow bountifully so that we can reap bountifully! He even provides the seed! (2 Corinthians 9:10)

The devil has deceived so many Christians into believing that they do not have financial abundance. But isn’t it true that most of the people of the world would be glad to trade places with you right now? Can you see that you really have already been prospered and are already numbered among the truly rich? The devil has already stolen enough from most Christians. Don’t believe the lie that you are poor! Believe God! Pick up your bible and look this one up for yourself: 2 Corinthians 8:9. Whose report will you believe?

II Corinthians 9:6. But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

We pray that God will richly bless and prosper you, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually socially, and financially, and that you will walk in divine health, even as your soul prospers.
