You cannot possibly know yourself, until you know Jesus Christ. His Word alone reveals your true identity.
PVB 18: 2. A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.

You cannot possibly know the true meaning, purpose and plan for your life until God reveals it to you. Godfs plan for you was complete before the world was made.
JER 29: 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Before your were born again:

You had no covenant with God, and you were spiritually dead and physically dying
EP 2:12. That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

But Jesus Christ found you and saved you!
JN 3: 3. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.


Now that you are born again, this is who you are:

You are God's child
1 JN 3:2. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

You are new creature
2 COR 5: 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

You are Son of God, led by the Spirit of God
RO 8: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

You are kept in safety wherever you go
PS 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all they ways.

You are Christ's friend and covenant partner
JN 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

You are united with the Lord
1 COR 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

You are a citizen of Heaven.
EP 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

You are a saint, set apart for God.
EP 1: 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

You are free from condemnation
RO 8: 1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
RO 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus
2 COR 5:21 God

You are the salt & light of the earth
Matt. 5: 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

You are a member of the body of Christ
1 COR 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

You are seated with Christ in the heavenly realms
EP 2: 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

You are established, anointed, and sealed by God
2 COR 1: 21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

You are assured all things work together for good
RO 8: 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

You are the branch of the true vine.
JN 15: 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

You are the church.
1 COR 3: 16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

You are complete in Christ
COL 2: 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

You are hidden with Christ in God
COL 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

You are God's workmanship
EP 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

You are God's co-worker
1 COR 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
2 COR 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

You have been purchased, redeemed from death
1 COR 6: 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

You have all you needs met according to God's riches in glory
PHP 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

You are blessed with all spiritual blessings
EP 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

You are blessed coming in and going out
DT 28:6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

You are healed by His stripes
1 PT 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

You have the mind of Christ
1 COR 2: 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

You have received a ministry from God
2 COR 5: 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

You have access to God through the Holy Spirit
EP 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father

You have been chosen and appointed to bear fruit with your covenant God
JN 15: 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

You have a resurrection body awaiting you in heaven
2 COR 5: 1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands eternal in the heavens.

You are an heir of God and joint heir with Jesus
RO 8: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

You are heir to the blessings of Abraham
GAL 3: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

You have inherited eternal life
1 JN 5: 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

You have been given everything you need for natural life and for spiritual life
2 PT 1: 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

You are a partaker of His divine nature
2 PT 1: 4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

You can do all things.
PHP 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.


You can cast all your cares on Jesus
1 PT 5: 7 Casting all your cares upon him,; for he careth for you.

You are beeing transformed by renewing your mind
RM 12: 1 I beseech you therefore, bretheren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

You may approach God with freedom and confidence
HEB 4: 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
EP 3: 12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

You can receive power from God
AC 1: 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

You are exercising your authority over the enemy
LK 10: 19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

You are an overcomer by the glood of the Lamb and your testimony
REV 12: 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

You are daily overcoming the devil
1 JN 4: 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he tha t is in the world.

You are not moved by what you see
2 COR 4: 18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

You are walking by faith and not by sight
2 COR 5: 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

You are casting down vain imaginations and bringing every throught into captivity
2 COR 10: 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

You have been given the victory in every situation
RO 8: 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

You cannot be separated from the love of God
RO 8: 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You have been justified and sanctified
1 COR 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.


RO 5: 1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

You have been delivered from darkness, translated into light, redeemed & forgiven
COL 1: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

You have been redeemed from the curse of the law
GAL 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, beling made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

You have been saved by grace through faith
EP 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

You have been adopted by God
EP 1: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

 The good work God has begun in you will be perfected
PHP 1: 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

God will never let you down!
IS 43: 2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
HEB 13: 5b ... for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Remember who you are at all times, because the enemy will try to deceive you into thinking you are not who God says you are. Any word that contradicts the Word of God is sta lie. Cast it down, and stand instead on the Rock of your salvation, the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise his name, forever!
