I left out an important event for yesterday…we saw two tanuki…raccoon dogs. They are very elusive and it was a rare treat to get pictures, even thought the pictures could have been better if I could have gotten my camera into position faster. |

稚内7:10発。札幌まで5時間乗るわけだが、1ヵ月前にグリーンはすでに満席。その後も何度かキャンセルがないか問い合わせてみたが、満席とのこと。駄目押しでもう一度、乗る直前に窓口にいってみると、"大丈夫とれますよ。"と信じられないような答え。神様に感謝！！おかげで札幌までゆったりと乗れた。

| Today we spent 8 hours on the trains traveling south from Wakkanai to Urahoro
to meet Pastor Abraham Lee and his wife Ayumi and their son, Samuel. |

Pastor has started a number of house churches in the area, and that is a great thing, because there are virtually no churches in that area. They are real pioneers! They are also very hospitable and we enjoyed good conversation, and a good night's rest. Our dinner with the Lee family included deer meat, and Abraham is interested in eating bear meat. I will pass any such opportunity!
リー牧師のお宅で、楽しい交わりをもちました。また、鹿肉のお料理もいただきました。初めてですが、美味しかったです。(臭いを消すのにずいぶんと手がかかるようです。) ほとんど見ず知らずの者たちなのに、とても親切にお世話してくださって、本当に感謝です。 |
